If you are at a small to medium Company be it in Real Estate, Construction, Consulting, Manufacturing or any other sector and you are wandering of better ways to solve your business problems through technology for that inventory management, project management, incident management disarray and so on, I highly recommend checking out ways you can leverage Google Cloud's No Code platform 'APPSHEET'.

Some Six Years ago, while working for a mid size construction company, i came across APPSHEET which since then has become revolutionary in efficiently managing company's project resources. At the time, i was really impressed, because it was the closest you can come to an Excel Sheet which ultimately meant everyone can easily pick it up. After looking into it, we came up with a custom project reporting and tracking mobile App with real time reporting functionalities which uses Google Sheet as a database in less than 3 days. We used No developers, No Solution Architects , ... just the people actually doing the work. It gave us the opportunity to launch apps as quickly as possible in house, and improve on it continuously with feedback from users. We continued to use it in cross functional departments handling fleet management, project management and inventory management exceptionally well.

Fast forward to now, Appsheet has been acquired by Google Cloud and i can attest has made tremendous improvement in strides of integration, security, and user base, but still Google offers you to prototype it for FREE for under 10 users an app. Whether your database is Excel, Google sheet or the more complex SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB,...), Appsheet can turn it in to an app.

With over 200 global services, isn't there something of this kind from Amazon Web Services you may ask, AWS App Studio which was announced this July is by far the closest match i can find. Check this blog announcing a public preview of App Studio if you are serious about NO CODE/ LOW CODE enterprise grade business applications.

My Final take is that consideration of LOW/NO Code shall be a starting point while evaluating your options to improve your business process. For one, LOW CODE translates in to LOW COST. As far fetched as it may seem for now, Nividia's CEO Huang Jensen was quoted as saying “...It is our job to create computing technology such that nobody has to program and that the programming language is human”.
