Growth Marketing for Devs

Irhose - Jul 15 - - Dev Community

Marketers dread marketing anything to devs. Why? They think devs are a tough nut to crack. I think otherwise. I've been marketing to devs since the inception of my career in marketing and it's the most intuitive thing ever. It's intuitive because devs are predictable in their desire to look out for one another. So I say, if you want to market to a dev, help the dev first. How you help them will determine if they become customers or if you become a reference story.

I started my growth marketing startup a couple of years ago and since then I've worked with dozens of technical founders, helping them drive growth by setting up content engines and self perpetuating growth funnels. It really doesn't matter how technical or niche based the subject matter is, if enough people have a problem that your solution solves, I'll show them why they should only care about you and your product.

Check out my website The Content Advocates or shoot me an email let's talk about the most efficient strategy for achieving widespread customer adoption for your startup.
