From what I understand, creating a portfolio has become mandatory for anyone with an IT degree these days. Therefore, I would advise not investing a lot of time in this during your time in college. In my opinion, creating a quality website on your own is the ideal course of action if you are established in your career and have some free time.

Now that you know that this is required of you by the school, let's look at how to complete it quickly and easily.

I'll quickly share some advice with you that I hope will be helpful.

You may quickly locate portfolio templates by clicking on the links I've included below.

And if you Google about a bit, you can find a ton of free portfolio templates. Thus, you can quickly edit the template by adding your information and photos, which can be accessed here.

The website you've made has to be hosted and deployed after that. For now, the advice I'm offering you is to leverage your GitHub account's pages function to accomplish this. If so, your GitHub username will appear on the github.io domain, which will serve as your portfolio. This may be seen in action in the YouTube video that I've included below.

Additionally, you can host your portfolio website at https://vercel.com for free. Visit this site to find out how to accomplish it.
