Dear Ladybug Podcast friends,
We’re writing today to inform you that we won’t be publishing an episode this week. We strongly believe that the death of George Floyd and the protests happening across the country are of utmost importance. We are taking this week to remember not only Mr. Floyd but all Black people who have been unjustly killed.
We have donated our sponsorship profits from the next episode in support of Campaign Zero. Donating is just one way we can help the Black community and we encourage all of our listeners, if you’re financially able, to do the same.
We’re taking this week to educate ourselves about anti-racism and hope you will too.

Racism is not a “United States” issue: it’s a world issue. We all have a responsibility to stand against racism and support the Black community. Our Black friends and colleagues are hurting. Are you listening?
I feel beat up. I’m exhausted. I’m hurting.
We need to know you stand with us, that you’re there for us. Check on your black friends. We need you.
And if you don’t have any black friends, you should look into that.

Arlan 👊🏾@arlanwashereDear white people I work with: Don’t ask anything of me on Monday if you’re not speaking out today. Don’t expect me to co-sign on your social equity if you’re not willing to make your thumbs work. It’s literally the least you can do. I do mean it.00:44 AM - 31 May 2020
Don't @ me talking about I was wrong.
Racists have no place in our field, certainly not loud-mouth public racists.
I did your company a favor by shining light on his tweets. Some people charge for such services lol. You're welcome.19:08 PM - 30 May 2020
Pariss Athena⚡️Black Tech Pipeline Founder@parissathenaSupport does not look like, “I know everyone is angry, I am too. But this isn’t how we should go about it.”
ESPECIALLY if you’re not Black. Support means listening, encouraging and contributing. Having an opinion on something you never have to experience is gonna get you dragged17:28 PM - 29 May 2020
